Make It Monday #8: Ink Blending Techniques

Well I certainly know that I need a bit more work on the blending part.  And maybe having the right tools would help.  But this card turned out better than I thought it would have.  I only had foam eyeshadow applicators to do the blending.  Maybe I'll try again with cotton balls?  I'm open to suggestions!

I used some stamping mask paper that I cut with the Mat Stack 1 die.  Then I used the stamp from the Mat Stack 1 collection and the sentiment from Think Big #2.  Directly around the image is Enchanted Evening ink, Ocean Tides ink, and finally Spring Rain.  The pigment ink was definitely easier to work with versus the dye ink.

Well...I think you did great with only using an eyeshadow blender!
Love the colors and the simplicity...
looks like watercolor.

I love the way you have the darker shade framing the panel. Simple and arty looking.

It looks great sort of like an impressionist painting!
