Surprisingly, I really enjoyed making Father’s Day cards this year. Having to make masculine cards is something I usually fear, but Denise from Sassy Stampin' graciously gave me a pad of Curio Basic Grey patterned paper. Once I paired a couple sheets of that paper with the Turning a New Leaf die, they came together quite nicely! I also used some Real Wood Thin Cherry sheets for die cutting and also as a base.

Wow! These are simple and striking... I think I just officially added Turning a New Leaf to my July wish list. ;) The labels and buttons are perfect accents.
Hubs just mentioned that he wants to head out of town this weekend... that means I need to get crackin' on the Dad's Day cards. Thanks for the inspiration (and the sweet shout out)!
